WOMENS COMMITTEE FOR CHILDREN'S CONCERTS
An affiliate organization of the Youngstown Symphony Society, the Women’s Committee was organized in 1935 and presented the first Young People Concert on May 9, 1940. Today Women's Committee for Children's Concerts assists the Youngstown Symphony Society in the presentation of school release concerts for students in grades 1 through 8, Tiny Tot community classroom performances and professional development seminars for educators.
Membership meetings are held the 4th Monday of each month from September through May, except December.
